Snow storm 2009 (and it was a storm!)

As we were pulling into the mall today for some lunch and play time, Daniel noticed the lady ringing the bell at the door (for Salvation Army.) "Mommy, do those people ring bells for money?"
Timidly, I respond "Well, yes; but for people who are less fortunate." (Wait- that's not going to make sense to him.) "It's for people who don't have a lot of money."
Very seriously, he replies "Oh, like me!" :-)
OY! I don't think he gets it! :) I tried explaining that although he only has $1 right now for his allowance, he is very blessed b/c Mommy and Daddy buy him food, clothes, toys, etc... Hard concept for a four year old. But as I thought about it a little more, it's a hard concept for us {big people :)} too! We have no idea how blessed we are!

Time flies!!

CANNOT believe that my little man is big enough to sit in a high chair already! 4 1/2 months old now, and it baffles me! He joined us at the table for dinner this evening for the first time! :)

I had to add another post in here today. Daniel and I went to cousin Victoria's Christmas play this evening- just Mommy and D. On the way home, Daniel started talking about his future wife to which he says "You will be my wife, Mommy!" (In a very serious way, mind you!) To which I replied "okay!" I love him so much!

MILESTONE!!

Elijah turned over today!!! Yes, I know this is no big deal to everyone else on earth, but it's a big deal to Mommy! :) My little man is growing up! I can't believe he's 4 months already- time flies! Love my little man (both my little men!) <3

Christmas time is so fun!! And having two gorgeous kids makes it even better! :)
