TWINS

My boys look quite a bit alike now even with the 4 year age gap...but when you start comparing their baby pics, it's ridiculous!! They look so much alike, down to the deep dimple on the left and the not so deep one on the right! Can you tell which baby is who?? *Answer at end of post.*

How'd ya do?? :)

Get-away to Short Pump :)

We were fortunate to be able to take a one day get-away to Short Pump for some shopping and indoor pool! This was Elijah's first time in the water-he loved it!

Chillin' in the hotel room :)

Some fun at the mall!

There is an awesome train that runs through SP mall that we rode with D last time we were there about 2 years ago. This time, we all rode! :)

We had a great time getting away and taking some time off from "real life." Although I'm not sure that's possible when you take the kids with you! :)
One of the many things we were looking forward to was eating at the Cheesecake Factory! Both kids are always great when we go out to eat, so we assumed nothing different this time. After waiting 45 minutes to be seated (well worth it,) we sat down to eat and the fun began. Elijah and Daniel both were SO over tired, it was ridiculous. Elijah screamed pretty much the entire time and D was complaining the entire time "I'm soooo tired!" To make the evening even more relaxing, the lady sitting a foot away from us had one too many to drink and was staring at E and I the entire time. When I say staring, that's what I mean! I was ready to blow. We ordered cheesecake in the midst of the misery (okay, some exaggeration there,) and had to have that bagged up to go b/c I just couldn't take it anymore! Then came the bill. We won't even talk about the bill! I get to the car and say to Abe in my usual non-sarcastic voice "WELL, THAT WAS FUN, HUH?!? TOTALLY WORTH OVER $70!?!" To which I get a "What?? I thought it was a really nice dinner!" (DEAD SERIOUS HE WAS!) ~Proof that men only hear what they want to! :)
