Steps forward

Baby boy took two steps on July 28th, 2010! yay! :-) It's kind of sad though- he's growing up! :-/ As I'm typing this, he just took 3 more steps!! His birthday is only 4 days away, and we're having a party tomorrow. I cannot believe it has been a year since I heard him cry for the first time. What a year it's been! I'm so in love with this little guy- him and his brother! I am SO very thankful for this family God has blessed me with!

Saddle Ridge Ranch!!!

This week is VBS!!! We (First Baptist Church) are hosting close to 500 kids! Today was day 2, and another huge blessing for me! {I am teaching 2nd grade this year.} I love watching the kids learn more and more about God's love for them! For some, this may be the only place they are hearing it- how awesome is that?? God is so good, and I'm looking forward to the rest of the week!

July 4th weekend

We had a great 4th. Went to some good friend's house (Zeke & Kat's) on Saturday.... our boys got to play with their boys

we're always joking that our kids have such "strong" names :)

on the 4th, we went to McIntyre Park to watch the fireworks....

we were wondering how E would do considering 1) he was up about 4 hours past his bedtime & 2) fireworks are loud

yeah, he did fine! :) no tears, and he really enjoyed them- so did D (he also enjoyed lounging in D's frog chair as you can see from a few pictures up :-) )

Hope everyone had a great 4th and was reminded of the freedom we enjoy everyday b/c of the many sacrifices made! GOD BLESS AMERICA & AMERICA BLESS GOD!!!
